New Student Registration Hours- Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00 a.m. to 11:00a.m.

*Replacement school IDs may be purchased BEFORE SCHOOL ONLY in the Principal's Office 8:00 a.m.-8:25 a.m. The cost for a replacement ID is $3.00.


*P.E. clothes are for sale BEFORE SCHOOL ONLY in the Principal's Office 8:00 a.m.-8:25 a.m. The cost for P.E. clothes is $20 ($10 for the t-shirt and $10 for the shorts).


*The first bell for the day rings at 8:20 a.m.  The tardy bell rings at 8:35 a.m.  Arrival to school before 8:25 a.m. ensures that your student will be on time.


*If your child misses a full day of school he/she may recover that full day absence through STEP-UP, Kucera's weekend school sessions.  This is great for those students who like to maintain perfect attendance status.  All full-day absences are recoverable.  Early-dismissals and period absences are not recoverable.  Please CLICK HERE to see the dates for this month's STEP-UP.



*Volunteers needed!!! Kucera always needs parent volunteers. Please visit the principal's office for information on becoming a parent volunteer. Support us in your child's educational success.

Each RUSD school has an Administrator who is the 504 Coordinator. Z.RA.Y. Award Recipients

Z.R.A.Y (Zetas Recognizing All Youth) - recognize and encourage students in the areas of : Improvement of Grades, Attendance, Testing (Rising Star), and students balanced in both academics and community service. Students were presented with with special awards, gifts, and certificates.




Congratulations to our wonderful cheerleaders, they took 1st and a trophy for spirit.

Show your school spirit by purchasing one today.  The Stand Up to Bullying Club promotes a bully free school, and encourages our students to be kind and respectful.  Please see Mrs. Terry in the Principal's office during your lunch to purchase one for $3.00

2016/2017 School Year Minimum Days

Starting this school year, Middle School Minimum Days will now fall on Wednesdays, not Mondays as they have in the past. The Minimum Day Bell Schedule will remain the same with students being released at 12:55 pm.


Parents please discuss traffic and bus safety with your children. 

When at a cross walk make eye contact with the driver before you enter the street.  Proceed with caution! 

While waiting for your assigned bus stand away from the curb and allow the bus to come to a complete stop.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Parents, did you know that you're required to complete a new Lunch Application every year for a free or reduced meal plan? Even if you have an application on file for the previous year, a new application must be filled out. A 2014/2015 Lunch Application must be on file in order for your student to continue receiving this meal plan. Students without a current application on file will need to pay full price for his or her lunch so make sure you turn one in. For your convenience, you may apply anytime at the link below.
