Kucera Middle School is a proud PBIS school. Scholars are taught and reminded to Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe throughout the campus and on their way to and from school. Our scholars must exhibit the high expectations from home, be prepared to learn in all classes, and participate in extracurricular activities that they are enthusiastic about and enjoy. Active involvement in all aspects of Kucera’s school life will provide a rewarding and richer school experience and help prepare our scholars to be productive global citizens. We focus on great character traits each month, strengthening writing and reading, fostering curiosity, student engagement, communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking and innovation, as students continue each year to prepare for high school, college and a future career. The careers of the future are STEAM- Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math related.

Thank you in advance for making school a priority and a strong commitment to excellence for the 2017-2018 school year! We believe that scholars, parents, teachers, staff, administrators, and other members of the Kucera Learning Community must work as a team  to educate literate, critical thinking, productive members of a global world. If and when challenges arise we are committed to resolving them as a team with our scholars' best interest in mind.  We will have a Great Year!

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Parents, did you know that you're required to complete a new Lunch Application every year for a free or reduced meal plan? Even if you have an application on file for the previous year, a new application must be filled out. A 2017/2018 Lunch Application must be on file in order for your student to continue receiving this meal plan. Students without a current application on file will need to pay full price for his or her lunch so make sure you turn one in. For your convenience, you may apply anytime at the link below.

Parents please discuss traffic and bus safety with your children.

When at a cross walk make eye contact with the driver before you enter the street.  Proceed with caution!

While waiting for your assigned bus stand away from the curb and allow the bus to come to a complete stop.
